EXPAT SUMMER CAMPS 2012

Hello Parents,

Greetings from Joe and Ruth Mauk, managers of the Rizal Re-Creation Center in Rizal, Laguna (10K outside of San Pablo City, near Nagcarlan).

We have been running summer camps for expat kids here in the Philippines since 1980. Every summer presents a new opportunity for giving this batch of kids the time of their lives. The first week of elementary kids is always fun and the middle school and high school week's attendance is exploding.

Last year we added an "OFW" work week for high schoolers. It was a big hit so we are offering it again this year. This is where expat kids (since here in the Philippines they are "Overseas Foreign Workers") a chance to participate in a
work project here at the camp. They pay a reduced rate to cover their meals and work together on project goals. They have the option to go home early on Friday with the elementary campers or they can stay through Saturday and join the high school camp that starts Sunday afternoon.

Please note that our middle/high school camp starts Sunday afternoon and ends Thursday afternoon. This is a change from previous years so be sure to check the proper drop-off and pick up times.Our camp directors again this summer are Andrew and Priscilla Leighton, both certified teachers from Los Angeles, California, with many years of camping and youth leadership experience.

MANNERS AND MORALS

Greetings from Joe and Ruth Mauk, managers of the Rizal Re-Creation Center in Rizal, Laguna (10K outside of San Pablo City). Rev. and Mrs Joseph Mauk invite you to Rizal Re-Creation Center for two days of fun and learning.

"Manners and Morals" is a program designed to teach your students valuable life lessons in a clean and freh environment. Along with learning some of life's important lessons, your students will also have fun with sports, swimming, and fellowship. And to bring this unforgettable experience to a close, the students will be given a banquet to practice their newly learned skills in etiquette.This is then followed by a bonfire with snacks and singing. Choose the two-day or three-day program. The Banquet and Bonfire will be scheduled for the last night of your stay. We can also put together a 4 or 5-day program with special focus on sports clinics or local touring (local history, nature and livelihood).
